The North Essex Support Team (as known as NEST) work across the county to provide support for those living in poverty. As a Harwich Haven Authority supported charity in 2024, we went to find out more about the organisation and what makes it so special to the community.
A sent a two-man team to Harwich for one day of filming to produce this poignant film. It’s two well-chosen, emotive interviews that power this edit with the history and effect of NEST being told by the helper and the helped. Spending longer with both interviews in the final edit allows us to fully appreciate the emotion of their story and feel the impact of NEST.
As well as this longer form piece, we adapted the NEST story to work in compilation edit, featuring alongside other local charities, for use in HHA’s annual report presentation.
