FITZWILLIAM MUSEUM

UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

Brief

University of Cambridge hosts regular ‘Cambridge Conversation’ webinars, to keep alumni updated with all the latest projects and research. Looking ahead to the ‘Made in Ancient Egypt’ episode, UOC wanted to try something a bit different and take alumni for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the titular exhibition.

How we achieved it

Bruizer came on board to develop the idea into a fully-fledged documentary edit. Collaborating with the Fitzwilliam Museum team, we devised an exhibition tour that spotlit key artefacts, went behind the scenes of conservation and delivered a detailed narrative to allow alumni an in-depth look at the exhibition’s curation.

The final film was embedded in the live webinar, followed by expert panel discussion and Q&A. A standard website version was also supplied to share with those who couldn’t attend. We also created a suite of social edits in the build up to tease content from the main film and encourage a wider audience to tune in. The socials were spread widely following the webinar to continue driving viewers to the website edit.
