Found on some of their earliest bottles, ‘Southwold Jack’ is Adnams’ oldest trademark. Given a new lease of life on the new designs, he gives a sense of heritage to some innovative new flavours. Adnams wanted to create a product film for each beer to explain their complex flavours to existing drinkers, and entice new ones to try them out.
Head brewer Fergus is the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to each of Adnams’ unique beers, so we would have been missing a trick if we hadn’t tapped into his expertise. We filmed him introduce each of the four beers on a green screen backdrop, then used the vibrant colour schemes and designs of the range to create simple but bold animation behind him, to illustrate the flavours he describes. Eye catching, effective and very tempting, just like the beer bottles themselves!
