Launching their new brand, M Group looked to bring all their five divisions under one umbrella and needed an inspiring brand film to encompass the sectors into one identity. M Group came to us with the task of developing a creative and producing their flagship edit and a suite of accompanying deliverables for social media.
Our creative planned to capture an individual narrative for each division, featuring workman on site as well as end users benefitting from the service in their everyday life. Weaving these storylines together, the final overarching film would embody M Group’s togetherness and ambition. To further emphasise this, we utilised the new brand elements to link the scenes together with fast-flowing, connective lines, as a final touch for a brand film that unites the wider company.
Over three weeks, we filmed ten M Group sites across the UK and five local locations for the everyday scenes. As well as the main film, we captured ample additional b-roll for social media cutdowns, including individual films for the divisions and 10-sec branded snippets. We also had a dedicated stills photographer for every filming day, producing a bank of images to supplement the new M Group website.
