Magdalene College, Cambridge, wanted a film to celebrate the completion of their new library facility and thank their doners, who’d made it possible.
An over-arching interview with the master narrates the story of the build and how the library will house new possibilities for the college and its students. Having gathered the narrative on the first filming day, the second day was dedicated to b-roll of the library, very much the hero of this piece. A slider shot through the opening doors introduces the state of the art facility in one sleek movement, complemented by some handheld filming and drone footage which allows the space to be appreciated from every angle.
