Create an explainer video to orientate congregation marshals and outline the aims of the day. The film has been made available to volunteers ahead of the ceremony as part of a their event induction.
We adapted this graphical style from an existing congregation edit we’d created, so remain cohesive to Durham’s bold brand colours. Originally aimed at students, we reworked the style to suit a concise instructional tone, moving through proceedings with pace and using animation to isolate key pointers. We supplemented previously shot live action footage with an extra filming day to capture marshals’ duties at the ceremony and familiarise marshals with what to expect on the day.
