Filming locally, the BBC needed camera operators to help capture a Comic Relief fundraising film. Our crew were there when the fantastic fundraising efforts of St Gregory Primary School were rewarded with a surprise visit from some famous faces…
Under the guise of average media reporters, our crew were complicit in the surprise as the BBC’s Gladiators were hustled into morning assembly. Filming over one day, we worked with the Comic Relief team to capture a series of challenges which pitted St Gregory’s class against the Gladiators.
While a longer highlights edit was broadcast on BBC 1 as part of the 2024 Comic Relief live show to an average 3.6 million viewers, this snappy social captures the energy of the day and was shared after the live show to promote the surprise.
