Taking inspiration from the opening titles of big budget HBO dramas like Olive Kitteridge and True Detectives, we injected a strong sense of narrative through a dramatic music choice and the layering of images to lend a rich texture to the film. It effectively reveals a certain character and mood of the Salthouse without giving it all away, by finding the high drama in the everyday goings on of the hotel, which when you’re a guest there become something very special.
