Since 1857 London Science Museum has housed exhibitions, iconic objects and stories of incredible scientific achievement.
The idea of adult only, late night opening at London’s Science Museum isn’t a hard sell as far as we’re concerned, but we created a film to promote the monthly event to reach more people with their marketing, and give sense of the magnitude and range of what goes on in order to convince those remaining few!
We follow a high-speed version of the journey a visitor might take around the event – the speed of the camera ramps up and down to focus in on events. Sound was key here: we amplify noise as the camera slows down, creating a unique soundtrack to the night which captures the different moods of each part of the evening. The film has become one of the most popular videos on the Science Museum’s YouTube channel.
