There is a huge range of different film formats which have become obsolete since the spread of digital, and much archive material still only exists on these original formats, which can be easily damaged and are not always long-lasting. Bruizer have provided digitisation services for a long time, allowing our clients’ archives to be preserved and also accessible to much wider audiences.
We have video decks, scanners and restoration equipment all in house, and our specialist equipment allows us to carefully digitise and restore a wide range of formats. We also have efficient processes in place digitising large quantities of footage, quality assurance and producing LTO back ups. Just some of the formats we are experienced at dealing with include Betamax, DVCAM, BetaSP, DigiBeta, Hi8, 1 inch and Betacam and we have carried out particularly large digitisation projects for clients such as the Port of Felixstowe and the Imperial War Museums.
